Sunset Ridge is a large master planned community in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Generous sized lots, mature trees, sidewalks and neatly manicured lawns are all hallmarks of this beautiful community.
Location
The Sunset Ridge neighborhood is just two miles west of Downtown Holly Springs, 10 miles south of Cary, and six miles north of Fuquay-Varina. Holly Springs Road represents the northernmost edge of the development, while Sunset Lake Road represents the east most. Sunset Ridge is within comfortable commuting distance of Raleigh, and it’s only 30 miles to both Durham and Chapel Hill.

Devil’s Ridge Golf Club
The Devil’s Ridge Golf Course is an 18 hole, Par 72 golf course. Devil’s Ridge also offers a driving range, practice greens and a dedicated chipping area. The course is beautifully designed by John LaFoy. They offer a variety of membership options including both golf and social club amenities.
Sunset Ridge Racquet & Swim Club
The Sunset Ridge Swim and Racquet club is open to all residents of the Sunset Communities: Sunset Ridge, Sunset Ridge North, Sunset Oaks and Sunset Bluffs. The club is known for the world class amenities, including four competition-sized pools. Two 165-foot waterslides. A seasonally heated Junior Olympic pool. Six fully lighted tennis courts and a professionally staffed tennis complex.
Bass Lake Park
Bass Lake Park is a 54 acre lake surrounded by trails and parks, connected to Sunset Ridge neighborhood by sidewalks. There is a conference center that overlooks the lake, a nature center with exhibits, a picnic shelter with grills and restrooms and greenway trails that run along the lake and connect to other greenways in the town.
Bass Lake Trail
Bass Lake Trail is a wide 2 acre trail that circles Bass Lake. The trail is relatively flat and suitable for all walking levels. It is pet friendly.
Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park
Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park is a 100 acre open space used by the Town of Holly Springs for events and festivals. The town has future plans for the following development: amphitheatre, camping facilities, children’s natural play area, community garden with demonstration crops, pump track, large and small dog parks and additional greenways to connect to existing Bass Lake Trails.
Ting Park
Ting Park is home to the city baseball team, The Holly Spring Salamanders. In addition to the baseball stadium, the park also houses a soccer center, tennis complex and four outdoor basketball courts. The town also uses the park as a location for concerts and community events.
Downtown Village District
The Downtown Village District is an adorable small town feeling recreation district. This is where the Town of Holly Springs hosts many of their cultural events. There is an award winning farmers market, cultural arts center, and the recreation center.

There are plenty of dining options near Sunset Ridge.. Some of the most popular nearby eateries are Homegrown Pizza, Bass Lake Draft House, Mama Bird’s Cookies + Cream (you want to go there!!), and Bombshell Beer Company.

Holly Springs Towne Center
Holly Springs Towne Center is an open air shopping center located off HWY 55 in Holly Springs. This is where you can find all your favorite stores like Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, DSW as well as popular chain restaurants and the AMC Movie theatre, which is a Dine In theatre with a full menu.
Schools
Holly Ridge Elementary and Middle School are within walking distance of Sunset Ridge, located just outside of the development. West Lake Middle and Middle Creek Elementary and High Schools are a few miles to the east and all offer suitable education opportunities to children and young adults in the area.
